Piano Lessons

Matt has been teaching the piano for over 10 years, to students with all kinds of abilities and age ranges. He has taught up to grade 8 classical piano and music theory, but also specialises in teaching jazz and improvising.

For the last 4 years, he has held the position of Jazz Piano Teacher at Kingsdale Foundation School in South London, and also teaches privately around the Woodford area, and near his home in Shenfield.

His teaching experience also includes running jazz ensembles at Kingsdale School, as well as previously coaching students and running workshops in the Devon Youth Jazz Orchestra.

Matt has a first class degree in jazz from the Royal Academy of Music, and is fully DBS checked.
